Enrollment Fees

There is a one-time non-refundable enrollment fee of $600 per child.

Activity Supplies

Bambini covers all activity supplies, gifts for holidays, extracurricular activities and special event resources.

Tuition

Tuition is due the first of every month. A late fee will be added to accounts not paid by the 5th of the month. Payments received after the 5th of each month, will have a $10.00 per day fee. Failure to pay the complete balance by the 5th of each month can result in an interruption in your childcare services.

We calculate tuition amounts based on the age of the child on the day the tuition payment is due (first of the month), but we apply the same grace period to this as to the payments themselves, so if the child becomes eligible for a lower tuition rate on or before the 5th of the month, then the lower tuition amount applies for that month.

Meals

Bambini provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. For more information, please check our Nutrition page.

Late Arrival

The closing times are strictly observed. Fees for late pick up after 6PM are due upon pickup (paid to the teacher required to stay overtime) and are assessed as follows: $5 for the first five minutes and $2 for every additional minute. Failure to pay late pickup charges or frequent late pickups may result in dismissal.

For instances in which tuition charges need to be calculated for less than an entire month, we do this by dividing the monthly tuition fee by the number of days in that month for which we charge tuition, which are the days in which we incur payroll expenses (basically Monday through Friday, including holidays). Then we multiply that daily tuition amount by the number of days we need to charge for.

Waitlist Fee

There’s a $100 non-refundable waitlist signup fee. Signing up for our waitlist doesn’t guarantee a spot at any particular time, but parents in the waitlist are given priority for enrollment over those who are not.

Payment Methods

Bambini offers several convenient payment methods to suit a variety of individual needs. Please check each Center’s location page for details.

Our staff is trained on the research- based behavioral intervention model called Pyramid Model, you’ll find more information on this model in the link below:

As well as articles and other resources for parents, based on that model:

Fire Drills

Fire drills are conducted on a monthly basis as required by D.C. licensing and the Fire Marshall. These monthly drills are announced and occur at different times of the day. Teachers follow Bambini’s approved evacuation plan and procedure for exit routes and head count confirmation.

In the event of a true emergency or evacuation, parents will receive a text message or phone call with information about the status of Bambini. Parents may also call us for additional information.

Facility Security

Entrance to the center is locked at all times. Admittance is gained by calling our center. Parents of enrolled children are issued electronic keycards and are welcome to visit the center at any time during our hours of operation.
