Our Mission
Bambini about

Our mission at Bambini is to, first and foremost, provide a safe, nurturing, loving, high quality, educational environment that maximizes intellectual, physical and emotional growth and development in our young students from three months of age up to five years of age. Our second most important mission, which distinguishes us from other high quality preschool and daycare centers, is to foster the acquisition and development of a foreign language as important as Spanish. We do this by immersing our students in Spanish throughout the entire time that they attend classes at the center. The qualified teachers assigned to your child’s class are fluent in Spanish and this is their native tongue. Parents are strongly encouraged to exclusively utilize English or the family’s primary language at home.

Research in neurobiology has established that there is a crucial window of opportunity for a child to acquire a second, third or even fourth language with ease and close to native speaker proficiency. This language development window is between the age of 3 months and 5 years. Research has also established that there are significant benefits to exposing children to multiple languages at an early age and raising a child to be bilingual or multilingual. Children who are raised bilingual or multilingual tend to perform better in the areas of science, math and grammar. Bilingual and multilingual children tend to excel more in school, score better on tests of first language skills, be more creative, have greater mental flexibility and follow complicated instructions with greater ease. These are just some of the many benefits of acquiring a second, third or even fourth language early in life. Indeed, exposing your child to multiple languages during this crucial language development window will also open the door to an unlimited number of career opportunities down the road that might not otherwise be available to your child.

With our growing multicultural community, there is a strong need for bilingual and multilingual professionals, particularly those who are proficient in Spanish.

Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language in the world after Chinese and is the native language of 322 to 400 million people worldwide. It is also the second most commonly spoken language in the United States after English. Indeed, the United States is home to more than 50 million Hispanics, and is the fifth largest Spanish-speaking community in the world, after Mexico, Spain, Colombia and Argentina. There are over 1.5 million people in Florida alone with Spanish as their native language, and the Hispanic community in the United States is exponentially growing. The importance of having the ability to communicate in Spanish is ever increasing.
